Cambridge MS Research Days
In 2012 and 2014, we organised speakers representing all the research groups in Cambridge working on MS, many from the Cambridge Myelin Repair Centre. Some feedback was:
•“Very clear talks which were pitched at a good level - not too dumbed down but not too technical. Really like the way Dr Coles chaired the event - very slick”
•“ I have been recently diagnosed and it was refreshing to be in such a supportive atmosphere.”
•“Good to hear how things may progress in the future and also to be able to meet those who are involved with the research.”
•“I came back with hope for a better future for PWM
Being involved in our research
We believe that our research is enhanced by involving people affected by the relevant disase at the earliest stage of our work. People with multiple sclerosis or psychosis sit on our Trial Steering Committees and review our protocols and research applications. We regularly run focus groups, of people with MS and their carers, to guide our work.
If you would like to be part of our research in this way, please get in touch through the form opposite.
