Cambridge MS Research Days
In 2021, we organised two sessions of talks and dsicussion on our research for people with MS in Norwich. This was done in partnership with the Norwich MS Society and with input from the MS Society research communications team. Feedback was:
- Good to hear of all the latest studies and meet the students.
- Lots of interesting info, though mostly about the hoped for future rather than the certain present.
- Great event, very interesting to hear of research, fantastic knowledge sharing.
- Very interesting. Excellent people speaking and sharing their knowledge.
- Really information – I learned a lot about MS and the value and process of research.
- Left really well informed and with loads of thoughts and questions for the future.
- It was very informative and has given me some things to think about.
- Very well organised, useful and interesting – thank you. Good that there were two sessions so those who work could attend.
- Good selection of speakers.
- Learned a lot. A lot over my head. I do not have MS but a friend does.
- Enjoyed event as had not been to one for many years, very informative on up to date info.
Being involved in our research
We believe that our research is enhanced by involving people affected by the relevant disase at the earliest stage of our work. People with multiple sclerosis or psychosis sit on our Trial Steering Committees and review our protocols and research applications. We regularly run focus groups, of people with MS and their carers, to guide our work.
If you would like to be part of our research in this way, please get in touch through the form opposite.
