Jason joined the SOUND lab in Oct. 2021 and shows strong interest in improving hearing solutions via understanding the hearing system. His work is sponsored by aTaiwan Cambridge scholarship aiming to promote well-being of the hearing loss population.
After the completion of his MSc in Audiological Science at UCL Ear Institute, he worked as a clinical audiologist for a year. In his PhD he plans to probe the responses from spiral ganglion cells with the aim to to individualize coding strategies for cochlear implants. He likes riding motorbikes, carefully, with the aim of riding till as old as possible.
His research interest includes psychoacoustics, hearing aids prescription formula, cochlear implant coding strategies, clinical assessments and interventions.
